The person behind Nómada
Born in Rhodes, Zoi Atsa developed her passion of creating jewelry in the beginning of 2020. Studied physiotherapy in Patras and working as a flight attendand since 2012 until now. She remembers herself, since the early age to be always close to art trying to figure out what expresses her the most. She used to craft, next to her mother accesories, decoration gifts, remake the old clothes and shoes and also painting.
During her travels, she found out a world with different sense of style, different rules and combinations of the mainstream. She took the desicion to become part of this world by creating the idea of Nómada. An idea of mixing materials, cultures, and techniques. And so, a world of personal patterns, small sculptures, semiprecious stones and metals come into a limited collection of jewelry.
Our Story
In November 2019, I had a life changing experience. A rare opportunity presented itself and in a completely spontaneous manner. I found myself going on a far away trip. No plans, no reservations, no recommandations and completely on my own.
I went to the most exciting city, in an amazing country, full of life, music, sun and rythm. There, I realised that real beauty lies in colours. Behind all the warm and sincere smiles I received from locals, I came to recognize that authentic and unique style does not follow any rules and it goes against all stereotypes.
That place, gave me the best souvenir I had ever gotten: a completely new perception of fashion, and right there and then, in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, the idea to create Nómada was born. Nómada was inspired from a liberal, independent woman, who dares to be different and go out of the mainstream. She loves playing and experimenting with colours and is not afraid of unexpected and bold combinations.
If Nómada likes something, she will own it and wear it proudly. She will cause people to stare and their attention will be worthwhile. Nómada believes that imagination and inspiration can contain the whole colour spectrum.
